We stayed at Luna International in Esteli and had a great experience. the hostel has a small but cozy atmosphere, perfect for meeting fellow travelers. the staff, though they speak limited English, are friendly and knowledgeable. the hostel is centrally located, making it easy to explore the city. the common area is comfortable with hammocks, rocking chairs, and a large sofa, creating a relaxed vibe. Despite the limited number of guests, we enjoyed the peacefulness of the hostel and even had a spacious dorm room to ourselves. We also booked a fantastic Somoto tour through the hostel.

Central courtyard with kitchen, lots of books, and hot showers were jaw-dropping. Wow! A wonderful cafe across the street offering breakfast vouchers. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly but spoke little English. Convenient location near Pan-American highway for taxis. Great atmosphere for socializing and finding activities. Early breakfast would be a nice touch.

The hostel had a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, and the staff were helpful and accommodating. the location was convenient, with restaurants and a supermarket nearby. the hostel also offered assistance with organizing tours, which made it easy to explore the area and participate in local activities.
The dormitory rooms lacked locks, which meant that anyone could enter at any time, making it a bit concerning for personal security. the accommodations were quite basic and rustic, with limited amenities such as plug points and extensions in the room.

I had a great stay at Luna International in Esteli. The location was perfect, just a couple of blocks from the main square and within walking distance to bars and restaurants. The hostel offered a wide range of trips and the reception staff were super helpful, providing us with informative folders about the area. I highly recommend reading them! The bar/restaurant across the street had reasonably priced food and drinks, and they even offered a canyon trip that was well-organized and enjoyable. The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable, and I particularly appreciated the warm shower and the free coffee offered at the cafe. I had a good experience at this hostel and I would recommend it to others.
